Independence Day
After a long struggle for independence India achieved her freedom from the foreign rule on the 15th of August in the year 1947.Independence Day is celebrated all over the country with great pomp and show. It is regarded as a National Holiday. Each year the Prime minister hoists the flag at the Red Fort in the morning and delivers a speech. People gather in large numbers to hear him. Homage is paid to the martyrs. Each year we celebrate this memorable day in our college. On 15 th morning we all gathered together, started by reminding the hard won freedom which we gained by our leaders.
