As part of the B. Ed curriculum  we were supposed  to attend a field trip for developing societal  values. For this purpose along with our teachers,  we attended  a field trip at Thiruvanthapuram  and places visited  were Thonnakal Asan Smarakam,  VSSC Thumba and Koyikkal Palace. Asan samarakam Mahakavi, Kumarasan's house is now converted  into   a tourist  spot,  Asan Samarakam.  Koyikkal Palace  Koyikkal palace was built for Umayamma ranni of venad family  between  1677 and 1684.Today it is working  as a museum  complex housing  several   objects  of historical  importance..  Also we got a golden  opportunity  for watching  rocket launching  at Thumba..

Today a workshop on SUPW(socially  useful and productive work) was conducted  in college  as part our B. Ed program.Mrs Shinny,   an alumnus of BMM2TC came to teach us how to  make an ayurvedic soap.She explained  each and every steps and showed us the preparation  method..  She was helped  and supported  by our classmates  Christy  and Jyothis... After 2 hours,  the mixture  was poured into different  trays.and allowed  to settle down.

As part of our B. Ed program, this morning  was  spend by conducting  a workshop on Art and Aesthetic  Education..  We were divided  into different  groups  for making craft materials under the guidance  of resource persons,  selected  from students'side.. We made five different  items ,  doll,  flowers,  door mat,  bottle  craft and tissue  flower.
