Field Trip

As part of the B. Ed curriculum  we were supposed  to attend a field trip for developing societal  values. For this purpose along with our teachers,  we attended  a field trip at Thiruvanthapuram  and places visited  were Thonnakal Asan Smarakam,  VSSC Thumba and Koyikkal Palace.

Mahakavi, Kumarasan's house is now converted  into   a tourist  spot,  Asan Samarakam.






 Koyikkal Palace 


Koyikkal palace was built for Umayamma ranni of venad family  between  1677 and 1684.Today it is working  as a museum  complex housing  several   objects  of historical  importance..




 Also we got a golden  opportunity  for watching  rocket launching  at Thumba..
