Cognitive mapping, mind mapping, and concept mapping are three powerful visual-mapping strategies for organizing, communicating, and retaining knowledge. They help us lay out complex ideas, processes, and recognize patterns and relationships. A  cognitive map  is any visual representation of a person’s (or a group’s) mental model for a given process or concept.   Mathematics association was inaugurated on 14 march 2021. Several Competitions were conducted as part of  pie day.All the programs were oraganized by students of first and second B Ed trainees of Mathematics department 

  Teaching experience  through online and offline was really great. I had chosen identities for online teaching and pairs of equations for online peer teaching. For that I was allotted to MTGHS Kottarakara. We 8, B Ed trainees were allotted to different divisions of the school. Also for the peer teaching we were divided into a group of 5 students.. 2 slots of morning and evening were given for taking the classes Online platforms gave us a new platform for teaching. It made us aware of new online tools for teaching. That helped us to be a technopedagogue.It was an amazing experience.Network issue was the only problem faced in the online teaching practice. Otherwise it was nice and it helps to improve quality of teaching. .We would have taken classes in schools if these pandemics hadn't been here. That was a major missing in our teaching time. 

 We were divided into several groups, formed 5 a group. 10 classes were done through online platform Google meet and other five offine. For that I had chosen  the chapters pairs of equations and statistics.

 As there was no respite from corona virus, we were asked to take classes through online forms for school students. The school chosen was Marthoma Girls High School, Kottarakara . I took the chapter Identities for the students. In between the class Diagnostic test was conducted and after the end of the session an achievement test was carried out for knowing how much the students have learnt.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.  Our college celebrated women's day The inaugural function started with a prayer song. Our college principal gave a presidential address and then the chief guest's inaugural address. She addressed various problems and challenges faced by women in our society and how to tackle them. She also spoke about her experience and how she managed to be in such a position today. It was inspiring. Then felicitation was given by Very Rev.Fr. Zachariah Ramban, our local manager. As part of B Ed curriculum a 5 day camp was organised at our college from 15 February to 19 February 2021. The camp was named Explore 2021 with explore the endurance as the theme. Camp provides students with a community of caring adults, who nurture experiential education that results in self-respect and appreciation for human value. The outcome brings in self-identity, self-worth, self-esteem, leadership, and self-respect build personal competencies. These personal competencies are reflected in the four "C's" of the camp community: compassion,contribution,commitment and character and these qualities will help to build a successful nation and a civil society. The teacher students have a sense of community, develop intergenerational relationships, and learn through first -hand experiences .

  Celebrated every 10 November, World Science Day for Peace and Development highlights the important role of science in society and the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues. It also underlines the importance and relevance of science in our daily lives.This time, the world is struggling with the global Covid-19 Pandemic, the focus of  the world science day is on " Science  for and with society " As part of this, our college  celebrated the world science day through  Google  meet digital platform.  A one day workshop on Music  was conducted  today at college  with an objective of creating  musical awareness among student teachers for transacting concepts in an  easier way. The workshop was led by Dr Thoottam Bhuvanedran poet, writer, 2010 special jury award winner. In the  first session he talked about high quality, inspiring music history and shared his own experiences to students. In the afternoon session, we were divided into different  groups  and performed concepts  of our subjects  using various musical compositions  such as thullal pattu, vachi pattu etc.
